On one host I am getting a few Cullen WUs with 60 second CPU times but the run times are in the usual 127k range. The host is running 24/7 and previous 15 Cullen WUs are in the order of 127k second run and cpu times. Consequently the credit rewarded is very poor.

No errors, and so far none have validated...and most of the time I get the message "No work available for this application" - I don't look at this computer very often so I was quite puzzled when I noticed what was going on.

Stopped trying to run it for now in case doing so would mess things up even more on the server side.

We have a problem with woodall task and need input from all running woodall
task. It seems that woodal can't start or end correct when it is stoped and restarted.


We need your hep to get info on different platforms.

please PM John or me and give us :

CPU,OS,Memory, 32bit or 64bit and hostID, wuID if you get invalid results

If you not can give us info I suggest to chose Cullen LLR instead of Woodall to we can find a solution on this issue..

I switched the host to SGS via preferences when I noticed this. The SGS WUs are reporting as expected with similar real and cpu times and validating with other hosts (when assigned including one of your hosts with similar boinc version).

Looking back at the boinc log is may be a suspend/resume related problem with the boinc version (6.10.56 for many reasons). . So I have started a new single Cullen so if that works I would attribute it to a temporary or BOINC problem. Otherwise I will let you know but just ask if you need me to rerun anything.

Be warned to run Cullen/Woodall(Sieve)1.12 cpu application! You must have a very good cooling solution!
It heated up the FB-DIMM's of V8-Xeon to 118 grd Celsius.
