I wish I had a better answer other that I'm not sure. Lennart attempted to get it up today but PRPNet failed. He will give it another shot tomorrow. However, I suspect we'll be more successful after some of the stress is reduced on the server.
Best case, it will be up tomorrow. Worst case, it will take 3-4 days. Sadly, we didn't foresee this occurring. We'll be better prepared next time.
EDIT: Last time I mentioned only one future Challenge that might cause problems. Actually, there are two. Fortunately, they both are only 24 hours:
25 Jul 18:00 PPSE LLR Full Moon 24 hours
17 Nov 18:00 SGS LLR Leonids 24 hours

Any idea of what went wrong? HW failure? Data corruption?
We may eventually hit deadline for some ports but that's the way it is, no big deal.
After hundreds of idle CPU hours before I got change to reach the boxes I recently moved 3 quads to help clean-up after the Challenge, probably best choice for project.
(I'm aware it means no primes, no Top5000).

The problem is too many connection to MySQL.
To keep Boinc running we closed all we could close and PRPNet was one thing :)
I hope to restart it in 1-2 days.

Server load is pretty low, WUs waiting for validation close to zero...I guess dust is settling down after the Challenge. Still not a single PRPNet port available.
Any ETA on db purge?

Isn't there a possibility to go back to a server version without mysql, that time there were less errors of this kind.
