Inspired by Scott Browns 0-500G top sievers, I made a little PHP-script that counts sieved G's semi-automatically. I'll try to update the data every day if there is interest in it. I made it "modular" so it can easily show stats for different sieves and also started to "import" the data from Primorial sieve to test it. Let me know what you think about it...
You can find the stats currently here (url might change later). |

Ok, Primorial sieve statistics are now also available and up to date here. I'll try to update them at least once a day if there is interest. Let me know what you think, other sieve stats may follow sooner or later.
Oh, and Primorial statistics were imported with some sed-"magic", and there seems to be some small issues, like having TroubledBunny, TroubledBunney and Troubled Bunny showing up. :) I assume they are all TroubledBunny's work, but haven't changed them yet (he's getting too close to me ;) |

Yep all me and I'm also known as Peter Tibbott.
Nice work on the stat's and hope I see my name creep up just one more place...
Yours competitively,
Pete aka TroubledBunny, etc., etc. |

Uh, okay, I combined all your different personalities together, still some G's to go. I was "a little" suprised to find myself at the top as I've done all that on less than one Xeon 3060 core, gotta try to hang on to that. Let's hope that Puzzle-Peter or Honza don't see this, they'll crush us all. :)
Hmm, maybe we should start a new thread for the stats, because they don't exactly fit in any of the sieve reservation threads...
Next up: 12121 statistics, but you have to wait till tomorrow. |

Don't worry, I won't do more different sieves, the handling gets too confusing ;)
Some help on the 12121 sieve would be appreciated though.

I just added stats for the finished TPS sieve, which Puzzle-Peter dominated. Also added is Cullen/Woodall stats, which at the moment only includes the most recent n*2^n+-1 for 10M<n<100M starting from 6000M. More on CW later. |

I'm on vacation traveling for a few weeks starting tomorrow, so manual sieve statistics will not be updated or are updated very occasionally during that time. |

Question, does a higher or updated Sieve file for Primorial increase the speed of finding factors or if not what does it help mainly with? Other then sharing with other community websites and having the power to say "Look at all the work our community did".

In my short experience with sieving, an updated file does not seem to give a huge bump in speed, maybe 1-2%, but it does seem to depend on the project. There are some projects where the update makes almost no difference, because the file is so huge.
Bear in mind that I am no admin, just a casual volunteer with a little experience, I am sure there are other, more informed people that can confirm or deny this.
