PPS Sieve Bronze: Earned 10,000 credits (20,226)

TPS needs help Sieving folks.

The Optimal Sieve depth is 16000T. for n=333333
We are stuck @ 8060T.
A single core for Core 2 Duo can do approx 10T per day.

So we have 794 Days worth of one core CPU work Left.
If we get 10 core full time we can finish the amount of work in 80 days.

Even if you can contribute 10T it would be greatly appreciated. Come Help us move this rock 1 inch at a time. (if you are dedicating Quad core you can do approx 50T per day)

Contribute whatever you can. Even a days worth of sieving is welcome.

To get started.

P.S: Reply to this post and Pledge how many T's are sieving.
Example:
cipher [50T]
when finished let us know your completion of your personal goal.

A very coincidental post... :) For those who wish to participate right away, please visit the link to mersenne. However, we are within a day of releasing the sieve here in PrimeGrid's forum, adding the tpsieve software developed by Geoff Reynolds.

That is great news. only drawback i see with TPSieve is its RAM requirement is way to high.

Forolder computers with low RAM I would use NewPGen. For anything with enough RAM, use the TPSieve, as it is quicker. I assume provisions will be available to do this?

By provisions, do you mean this?
