One of my results had a host number --- as wingman. Been around PG a long time, but have never seen this before. Anyone know what is going on here?

Maybe a deleted host?

I had one too a couple of days ago and with a surprisingly round number of seconds (I think 600 exactly) to complete the tasks and for claimed credit. |

Strange... exactly 600 seconds of CPU time, claimed credit exactly 3.8 (which seems very high, so maybe the benchmark is inflated), only the LLR Residue and no core_client_version in the stderr out and application version 9.99. Some secret testing or a new dimension of cheating? :|

One of my results validated against this "phantom" host as well.
To add a couple more observations:
Time Created is identical to Time Sent.
Time Received is identical to Report Deadline (exactly 1 hour later).

I guess it's time to put an end to consiracy theories :)
We have implemented a way for independent prime searchers to upload their finished work to PrimeGrid and when we encounter the number that has already been tested by someone else, we create a dummy result entry with host id 0 (which show's up as "---") and only send one copy to doublecheck. The times and credit are there just so as not to confuse BOINC server.

I don't think anyone minds, Rytis, or has conspiracy theories just we like to know what is going on. |

That's really good news!
Less unnecessary work and better double-checking all round!
