The 27121 sieve has now been rolled up into the PPR sieves 3M-6M and 6M-9M. Therefore, this sieve is officially closed.

This is the reservation thread for the 27121 Prime Search sieving (PrimeGrid's collaboration with the 12121 Prime Search). The sieve is for k=27 & 121; k*2^n+-1 for n<10M.

Before reserving a range, please visit the Welcome thread for instructions and to download the setup files. NOTE: Manual BOINC cobblestones are available for this sieve. Also, this sieve is best suited for 64 bit OS machines.

To reserve a range, simply post in this thread the range you wish to reserve, using the following format for your message: Reserving Range Username. For example: Reserving 0T-25T Lennart

Updating sieve file
Download and unzip the new sieve file. Stop sr2sieve. Edit command-line.txt file to new sieve file name. Restart sr2sieve.

Process Priority Switch
Default is not to change process priority.
-zz sets lowest priority (nice 20, Low)
-z sets low priority (nice 10, Below Normal)
-Z sets high priority (nice -10, Above Normal)
-ZZ sets highest priority (nice -20, High)

3,22M p/sec on Q9550 when running 3 instances on Win x64
~3.7M p/sec on Q6600 at 3.2 GHz when running 4 instances on Linux64 Ubuntu 8.04
